Course overview: This short course offers a comprehensive introduction to the principles of Mendelian Randomisation (MR) analysis. MR is a powerful methodology within genetic epidemiology, enabling causal inference from observational data. The course will cover core concepts, analytical methods, and the interpretation of MR findings.

Course Structure: The course combines pre-recorded video lectures with live interactive Zoom sessions, primarily focused on theoretical aspects. Participants will also receive practical exercises to reinforce their learning through hands-on analysis.

Target Audience: This course is intended for individuals with a basic understanding of epidemiological research and foundational knowledge of genetic epidemiology. Prior experience with R for statistical analysis is essential to fully benefit from the course content.
